This digital archive is designed to connect the Detroit and broader SE Michigan Native communities with the historic Native Sun Newsletter, printed out of the North American Indian Association (NAIA) from the 1970s through the 1990s.

These digital scans of the Native Sun were made from archival collections on microfilm from the Wisconsin Historical Society and from the Bentley Historical Library at the University of Michigan.
